Are you ready to upgrade your RaceBase system to include the new RaceBase Mobile? These instructions will walk you through upgrading your existing computer and RaceBase to the latest version, connecting you to our new Cloud Server and finally connecting all of your data to the RaceBase Mobile App.
If you are a new customer setting up a new system for the first time, please click on Setting Up My New RaceAir Cloud here for initial setup instructions.
First we need to update your existing RaceBase program to the latest version. To do this, the easiest way is to open RaceBase and click on the Update Software option in the top right. This will open up an internet browser with our technical support page. There you should se a link to download RaceBase version 4.0 or above.
After it is done downloading it may say that it is not commonly downloaded. Simply mouse over that text and click on the 3 dots to the right, then hit Keep. A window will appear to make sure you trust RaceBase, to the right of the Delete button click on the arrow and say Keep Anyway. Wait for it to finish checking it and then it should give you the option to Open File, click on that and Install.

After RaceBase has installed, you will be greeted with a Cloud Server Registration page. Please make sure your name is correct, type in the email that you want to be associated with the account and give your computer a name like Trailer or Steve’s Laptop. Then hit Confirm & Register.
We now need you to go access your email and you should see an email from Computech. Please scroll down to the bottom of that email and click on the Verify button. It will open up a browser confirming that your device has been registered.
At this point, if you go back to your RaceBase program you will see that the Cloud icon is now shimmering. And when you click on the Cloud, it will show you your online status, cloud server log and a button where you can manage which computers and devices are associated with your account. You are now connected to the Cloud Server and any changes you make while online will save remotely.

Now it is time to download the RaceBase Mobile app. Go to your app store and search for RaceBase Mobile, then select Get.
Once installed and opened you will have another registration page. Fill out your name, use the same email associated with your account and give this device a name like Ted’s Phone. Select Existing Customer and then hit Send Registration Email.
If you check your email, you will see a second email from Computech. Scroll to the bottom and hit Verify and you are good to go.
At this point, it should take about 60 seconds for the phone app to sync but once it does, you should have access to all of your RaceBase information right at your finger tips.
