We had a great race weekend at the second PDRA Racing race of the season at Virginia Motorsports Park. As you know, two weeks ago we neither of us qualified for the season opener. So we went home, figured some stuff out and came out swinging this weekend. Rowan qualified 9th with a 7.908 and Matt qualified 39th with a 4.342 getting both of us in the field.

And once in we were ready to race, with both Rowan and Matt going three rounds of tough racing. We made some big strides this weekend in both cars and are going to be heading into Ohio with a ton of confidence and fire inside to turn on some more win lights.

Rowan is officially in the field after dropping a 7.908 in Q2. It was a bit of a struggle with Gavin go a fuel pump go bad in testing but we got it figured out and although we missed on Q1, we nailed it in Q2. Rowan is currently sitting 9th and Matt is also in the field but sitting at 55 out of 64 with one more qualifying round to go for both of us.
Rowan and Matt look to bounce back from a rough start to the PDRA Racing season, and at a track that we have always been strong at, Virginia Motorsports Park. This will be a great race to watch so if your close by come on out. If not be sure to catch all the action and us on FloDragRacing.
It is officially PDRA Racing week and we are prepared to chase after two world championships. Rowan will be looking forward to chasing his first COOLSHIRT SYSTEMS Pro Jr Dragster championship and Matt will be competing in Laris Motorsports Insurance Top Dragster for his Rookie season. There is a lot of back and forth for us and if you want to watch on FloDragRacing, then these are the estimated times we'll be on track.
