Our replacement Weld-In Exhaust Temp Sensor will work with our EGT Plus series as well as our DataMaxx Data Logger system. The probe is a 3/16″ diameter probe and utilizes an 1/8″ pipe thread Weld-In Bung. The probe is centered in the tube using a Compression Fitting screwed into the Weld-In Bung, both of which are included in the probe. The probe lead length is approximately 10 feet long with a Male K-Type Connector on the end and can easily be shortened to your installation. The Weld-In Probe is designed to be used with regular octane gasoline, high octane racing gas, ethanol, methanol and nitro mixtures. It cannot be used with diesel as a specific Diesel Exhaust Gas Sensor is required.

The Weld-In Probe is designed to be used exclusively for engines that run Diesel or any sulfur based additives.
The Weld-In Header Adapter allows you to connect a professional EGT probe to any of your cylinders. Simply drill a hole, weld the bung in and your ready to add your exhaust sensor. The weld-in header adapter utilizes a 1/8″ pipe thread and is made to fit with the 3/16″ diameter probes as are standard for Computech.
The Weld-In Header Adapter Plug allows you to close that hole in your header any time you decide to take a probe out. This plug allows you to put multiple weld in adapters into all of your cylinders, then plug the cylinders that are not being monitored.
The Male K-Type Connector will allow you to replace the end of any Weld-In EGT Probe. When installing be sure to run the red wire to the negative terminal and the yellow wire to the positive terminal.
The Female K-Type Connector will allow you to extend any standard EGT Probe or Liquid Temp Probe when combined with our Thermocouple Wire. When installing be sure to run the red wire to the negative terminal and the yellow wire to the positive terminal.
